The Bird with the Rainbow Tale is a new story written in a style reminiscent of the folk tales of yesteryear. It tells of a world without color in which all of the creatures and living things are black and white and grey until a magical bird and a rainbow changes everything.

This enchanting story has been written by Valerie Greeley, an established children’s book illustrator and her husband Tony Corrigan an English teaching specialist. Each illustration has been hand drawn in the time honored manner and has been manipulated digitally using collage pieces from Valerie’s pattern designs, creating a new and exciting style that has its traditions firmly rooted in the past. It is very much a family enterprise with music and sound recording by their son James Corrigan
